Okay guys, this is a true, sad story which actually happened in my school and which makes me angry, sad and scared at once.
See, we have three turkish brothers in our school. All three behave rude. But thene we suddenly heard that one of them, the youngest, raped a few girls in my school and even hit them.
Now I am so glad that I haven't heard this while he was still at our school, I'd probably have not gone to school at all because i had some horrible experiences in the past. I hate that. I hate such cruelty in school and it makes me just really, really sad. Why do people do this? Why do they behave like that?

I nearly did. See, I had so bad experiences from my old school and i was so naive ant thought it would be better in the new one, because it#s on a higher level. But i was so wrong. People behave so rude there that I actually wish I could run away from there.

Well, for the Turkish this is a huge problem in Europe, definitely in Germany and Denmark.
See, the Turkish rules (mulsim rules) unless I am quite mistaken are that they cn do whatever they want with non muslim girls but they are not allowed to sleep with a muslim girl unless they are married (this is what I've been told .. so if someone knows better I'm happy to be corrected). So now the Turkish people live together in little Turkish neighbourhoods, do not try to blend in with the population of the host country and consider the girls of the host country up for grabs. I have a friend who studied in Denmark and she was felt up by 12 year old Turkish guys on two occasion (well they looked 12) and there have been many serious cases of multiple rapes by Turkish people in the communities. So no wonder the negative feelings and anger towards immigrants has been on the rise in Europe. And not all Turkish people are at all like this. I had Turkish buddies at school that were incredibly smart, fun, sophisticated and sad bout the general state of the culture, I even met a Turkish girl who made it through god uinversity with excellent grades and was incredibly smart. Sadly activities such as these and the negative effects of this culture is really seriously ruining the relationships between Muslims and the rest of European societies, I hope it will change, but I just am not sure how that change can be brought about.

Well this brother got expelled, but the two other brothers are the same type, that means I'm sure that they could be doing similar things.

Let's also keep in mind that rape is a form of control for the rapest, and power. If the Turkish males are being taught this it's obvious that they feel they must control women from other nationalities. I know this doesn't comfort anyone who has experienced such an event, however, it is something to consider when looking at the actions of a particular group of individuals, and not every person of the culture may conform in such manners.

Ok I'll play devil's advocate as ever...In Turkey, a Muslim country, women are unequal to men..in islam woen are inferior and men control every aspect of their lives...while this is certainly NOT an excuse for the rape I abhor violence, and more so,against women.

The unfair and exploitative muslim view of women, may have had an effect on these lads and distorted the way in which they relate to women...

It's not just a problem with Turkish muslims, it's a problem which exists in the entire muslim community and by that I don't mean that all muslim men intend to attack none-muslim women, I mean their national background is irrelevant. As far as I know, most women in the muslim community are brought up more strictly. That's why you don't see many cases of islamic women trying to get off with none-islamic men, but of course there are cases. Because of this strict up-bringing, they aren't so forward with muslim men who as a result of being intigrated with men of other backgrounds, begin to feel disadvantaged when they become aware of how secular women conduct their lovelives. The ones who carry out rape probably fear being rejected by the women. Basically islamic parents need to bring up children equally regardlsess of their genda, and while they so heavily restrict their kids, this problem and the other problems which exist as a result of that parental attitude will continue to exist. It also by the way exists in other religious communities too but to a more minor extent.
Innesle no matter what school you go to, none can offer you 100% guarantee that you won't be a victim of crime, but how well a school deals with a crime if it occurs and deters crime should be what the school is judged on.

The biggest problem pupils in school face, is the ignorant shove our heads in the sand attitude, of the head teachers ect.
...........
Many if not all, would like to think, that no one in their school has ever been a victim of bullying. In Scotland a Gothic girl Nicola Raphael commited suicide due to being continually hounded by a group of girls,if the school had acted to prevent this bullying, she might have reconsidered..but when the child succumbs to hopelessness because no one believes them, suicide becomes the only answer...the tragedy is that many don't always intend to go through with it...

See these brothers are born in Germany, only their parents were in Turkey. So I think they should be used to German rules.

Not necessarily if they have been brought up as Turks, the rules religion and customs of their former country, will still apply they will think and act like Turks..thats not to say all Turkish men are monsters...

But they went to German schools, to German residential groups! Their houseparents must have shown them how to live in a German way! That's what I mean!

Insele it sounds to me as if you assume they should now become German, and forget their Turkish nationality..if you moved to say France, would you be happy if they said right forget you were ever German, you are now French if you refuse we wont accept you as 1 of us....

..its a very dangerous opinion particularly as we are well aware of Germany's attitude towards immigrants its not so long ago that neo nazi's wre fire bombing turkish immigrants out of their homes.....

I think what it comes down to is this. if you want to go and live in a different country, you need to realize that the people of that country do not necessarily share the same cultural views/experiences as the people in the country you have come from. And whilst to a degree you can maintain your own culture/beliefs, you need to realize that there are some things which are perhaps not as acceptable in the country you have chosen to live in, as they are in the country you have left.

Exactly. And i thought the houseparents in their school could teach them at least a little of that.

There are people who just don't give a shit about other's feelings, and unfortunately, some of them probably never will. People like that piss me off as well. I'm sorry that had to happen to you. I know that it didn't happen to you dirrectly, but because it happened at your school, and you knew the person who did it, it has had an effect on everyone in the student body, as well as the teachers. Last year, a couple of former students from my school killed themselves. So, you're not alone.

People like that don't give a shit. It doesn't sink in that they are hurting people, or they just don't care. Its fucking depressing to hear shit like that but it sends a message, this is a cruel world.
